Advanced Willow Basketry Workshop

Take your skills further in this intensive 5-day hands-on workshop. Instructor Beth Bridgeman brings years of study under highly proficient international and domestic weavers to help you refine your technique and expand your repertoire.

Skills Covered: (customized curriculum; tailored to your requests)

• Bases: Crowning base, Catalan, spiral weave, chase pairing
• Side Weaves: Zigzag, Irish mouthwale, chevron weave, rope coil, reverse wale, speed randing
• Borders: 2 new border variations + adding a foot to a basket bottom
• Handles: Cranked handles and leather handles

• Materials: All willow provided (cost included in final tuition)
